A three ounce glass jar of Uncle Harry’s natural toothpaste in anise. A black licorice flavor, and the one people either love outright or hand to somebody else.
Ingredients: calcium carbonate, sea salt, mustard seed powder, anise, eucalyptus, clove, oregano, peppermint and wintergreen oils, bentonite clay, ionic minerals and colloidal silver.
The whole line is free of fluoride, preservatives, synthetic foaming agents, added abrasives and glycerine. The ionic mineral content contributes calcium and magnesium, and there is no sodium lauryl sulfate, so it will not foam the way a conventional paste does. That surprises first-time users; it is normal.
Worth knowing: because these are fluoride-free, they carry no cavity-prevention claim. If you or your kids are prone to decay, talk to your dentist before dropping fluoride, and keep brushing twice a day either way.
Packed in glass rather than a plastic tube. Use a clean spoon or a dry brush rather than dipping a wet brush back into the jar.
