Lugol's Iodine Solution 2%, 4 oz with Dropper
A four ounce bottle of Lugol’s solution with a dropper, formulated to the classic ratio of 2 percent elemental iodine, 4 percent potassium iodide and 94 percent distilled water. Lugol’s has been made to essentially this recipe since the 1830s and remains a standard laboratory and preparedness item.
Please read this part. Iodine is a nutrient at microgram doses and a drug at drop doses, and a 2 percent solution is concentrated. Too much iodine can disturb thyroid function in either direction, and it interacts with thyroid medication and lithium. This is not a product to experiment with on your own or to give to a child or an animal without professional guidance. Talk to your doctor or veterinarian about dosing first. Keep it out of reach of children and never take it undiluted.
