Timber Creek Outdoors builds the Enforcer line out of Springfield, Oregon, and the Complete Build Kit is their answer to a common problem: buying a matched, color-coordinated set of upgraded AR-15 parts one piece at a time is slow and the finishes rarely match exactly. This kit solves both problems in a single order. It is a parts kit, not a firearm. There is no receiver, no barrel, and no bolt carrier group included, and no FFL transfer is required to buy one.

Handguard length

This kit ships with the 15-inch handguard. Timber Creek also builds the same kit around 13-inch, 9-inch, and 7-inch handguards for shorter or pistol-length builds. Ask us if you need a length other than 15 inches.

Why the ambidextrous parts matter

The charging handle, safety selector, and magazine release in this kit are all built ambidextrous, which is worth calling out specifically for left-handed shooters, who are otherwise stuck running mil-spec right-hand-only controls on most base rifles. An oversized charging handle latch also matters more than it sounds: it is the single most common upgrade AR-15 owners make, because the mil-spec latch is small and hard to grab with gloves or a wet hand, and a bigger latch fixes that in the time it takes to swap one pin.

Does the TCO Enforcer Complete Build Kit include a receiver or barrel?

No. This is a parts kit covering furniture and small parts: handguard, charging handle, dust cover, pistol grip, trigger guard, safety, magazine release, takedown pins, buffer tube, gas block, and muzzle device. The upper and lower receivers, barrel, and bolt carrier group are not included and must be sourced separately.

Do I need an FFL transfer to buy this kit?

Is the charging handle ambidextrous?

Yes. The Enforcer Oversized Ambidextrous Charging Handle in this kit has latches on both sides, along with an ambidextrous safety selector and an extended magazine release, all usable from either side of the rifle.

Will this kit fit any AR-15?

It is built for mil-spec AR-15 platform receivers and buffer tubes, which covers the large majority of AR-15s on the market. If your rifle uses a proprietary or non-mil-spec upper or lower, confirm compatibility with us before ordering.

Does the gas block need to be pinned or set screwed?

The low profile .750 gas block in this kit is a set screw style, standard for this class of gas block. Installation should be done with the barrel properly supported and the gas tube correctly aligned. If you are not comfortable with barrel work, Dark Horse Guns & Ammo can install it for you.
